Debate Reflection

My group wasn’t a well organized group, each group members prefer to work on their own argument so we rarely communicate to other nor sharing the information that we researched for the evidences, we are more focus in finding points which are strong and suitable for the debate then decide who is the person who is going to argue about it. Ten, we give the person trust to create an argument that will help the group to win debate, or at least, an argument which is better than what the opponent group created.

I didn’t practice for what I’m going to say in the debate, I memorized the points that I’m going to argue but I still forgot some of them so I often stop in the middle of the argument to think. I also felt nervous in the debate. It made me forgot some vocabularies which make it hard for me to explain what I want to say. To improve those problems, I should practice arguing and memorizing the points that I’m going to debate to make sure that I’m prepared for the debate.

I think that my team mates did well. They explained their argument in a detailed way which is easy to understand and have evidences that supports their point. Yemi’s argument points out that the drug traffickers could ruin the drug-users life or kill them with the drugs that they had trafficked and sold to the victims so they should be executed because they cause danger to people. And Davin explained that the drug trafficker should be executed because they had broken the law of the country so they deserve to get the consequence.

We used the ethos, pathos, and logos, by explaining the evidences that we argued in a logical way and supporting evidences, talked about human rights, and explained the argument in an easy way to understand.

At the end, I think that my group didn’t perform bad, we still need to improve our argument and communication.

Chapter 26-50 summary

Sam got killed by Trout Walker and since then rain never drop at town green lake.

Zero and Stanley made a deal that Zero will dig Stanley’s hole if Stanley teaches him how to read, so Stanley spend his day resting while Zero digs his hole and teach him how to read at night, Zero’s real name got revealed. Ms. Katherine becomes the kissing Kate Barlow and got murdered by trout walker and his wife.

July 8, it’s Zigzag’s birthday, he got into fight with Stanley because he think that it’s unfair that Zero dig his holes, It resulted with the warden won’t allow Stanley and Zero to continue the deal anymore. The next day, Zero ran from the camp, Stanley ran from the camp too to save him.

Stanley found Zero, Zero’s face is really pale. Zero ask Stanley if he want some ‘Sploosh’ and gave handed him a jar of ‘sploosh’, Zero and Stanley are walking to the Big thumb. It seems that Zero ate the Sploosh from a contaminated Jar that caused him to got stomach pain.

On the way to the Big thumb, they found onions and source of water. Zero’s stomach pain got better after eating onions.

Stanley noticed that there might be something buried under the hole where he found the lipstick tube, Stanley and Zero decided to walk back to the camp and dig the hole where the found the tube.

They found a treasure buried in the hole, right after they found it, the conselours and Warden found them, Stanley and Zero can’t move or get out from the hole because there are yellow spotted lizards, the lizards don’t want to bite them because they smells like unions. The conselours and warden didn’t help them.

Stanley’s laywer came and told everyone that he is innocence, Stanley got released.

Zero got released too because there were not file and documents of him.

Stanley’s mom told Stanley that the curse in the family had never existed.

Camp green lake got closed and become a girl scout camp few years later.

Stanley’s father discover a product to get rid foot odor, he named the product ‘Sploosh’

Zero meet his mother that he haven’t meet for years.

I'm back with the summary of the novel 'Holes' that i wrote, s novel written by Luis Sachar! (Warning: this contains spoilers)


Stanley Yalnets is a teenager boy from a poor family who has bad luck due to a cursed that’s given to his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather. He got sent to a camp for bad boys called ‘Camp Green Lake’ that is located at a dried lake in ‘green lake’ a dead town for the punishment to the crime that he didn’t commit. Stanley’s family used to be a pretty rich family until one day the Kissin’ Kate Barlow stole everything from his great grandfather.

At the camp, he and the other boys are forced to dig holes everyday and only allowed to take a rest after they done with digging their holes, got stung by a scorpion, find something interesting under the ground or got bitten by a yellow spotted lizard: But being bitten by yellow spotted lizard is the worst scenario because the person that got bitten will always die in a slow and painful way. Stanley found a Golden tube with ‘K B’ written on it in a hole that he dig.

one hundred and ten years ago, green lake used to be a beautiful place until one day Sam, the union seller broke the law and got executed, since the day sam died, rain never falls in green lake until now, his close friend ‘Katherinee’ got driven mad after his dead and become the most feared outlaw in the town called ‘Kissin’ Kate Barlow’ that always kiss the victim she killed.

As time goes by, Stanley started to get along with the boys in the camp, he got a new close friend named ‘Zero’. The two make a deal that seems to make another boy got jealous with them that started a fight and make the warden to told Stanley and Zero doesn’t allow them to continue the deal anymore.

One day Zero ran from the camp and Stanley decided to search him to save him because it’s impossible for a person run from camp green lake because the water source is really far. But i turns out that Zero survived even in the lack of water and food, Stanley and Zero stays at the dessert for many days, they are survived for a week because they eat the unions that they found at the dessert at a place that used to be Sam’s union field one hundred and ten years ago, at the end, they decided to walk back to the camp to and dig Stanley’s hole where he found the ‘K B’ golden tube because there might be a treasure hidden under it that belongs Kissin’ Kate Barlow.

They found a suitcase at the hole they dig, and the warden tries to take the suitcase with her, but at the same time, Stanley’s lawyer came to declare that Stanley is innocent and to tell the warden to hand the suitcase to Stanley that seems originally belonged to Kissin’ Kate Barlow.

At the end of the book, Stanley’s mother told him that the curse of his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-great-grandfather had never ever existed, she even doubt if his great great great grandfather ever stole a pig.
His father found a way to cure foot door

and zero reunited with his mother that he never meet for years.

A Post About Me Posting A Post

I sat down on the floor with my laptop on my lap, then i opened the internet and log in to my blog, i took a deep breath and press the ‘write a post’ button and saw the empty white box where i usually type my post there, i was so sad because i wish that there are something already written in it so i just have to post it because i’m really lazy to write a post, i stare at the white box, thinking of what should i write for my blog…

My first idea was to write a post about my cats, i have 3 cats at my house, their names are Beno, Chibi and Chibo, after thinking for a while i got the idea how will the post looks like:

but then i just remembered that cat post are a common thing, and i want to write uncommon things to make my post unique and not boring!

And, so… i started to think for another idea, i put my laptop on the floor and lay down on my bed, i keep thinking, thinking and thinking… but i can’t find any idea at all! i was so confused and then i got panicked when i realised that it’s already 10:30 PM! My sleep time is at 11:00 PM and i only have 30 minutes to find an idea and write the post, well i can do that tomorrow, but i really want to post something now, and then i think again, trying to find an idea as fast as i can… but i can’t, i got stresses after 2 minutes thinking, and then i waste time laying on the bed feeling annoyed because of stress…  after 13 minutes, i decided to find something fun to do to get rid of my stress, and then i get an idea, why not pretend to be a witch? so then i wear my cape and find a pencil to use it as my ‘magic wand’ and start pretending to be a witch

It was surprisingly fun! i’m not stressed anymore after 11 minutes pretending to be a witch, but when i look at the clock… it’s  11:26 PM! but nah, i didn’t get panic this time, i try to find an idea of what to post slowly and i got a brilliant idea in 4 minutes!…. but wait.. it’s already 11:00 AM and i have to sleep… no! i have to done a post today, and then i try to rush to write a post as fast as i can, and i done it in 10 minutes! i am really happy, now, i just have to click the publish button and post my post.

Guess what? I'm a philately!

Since i was in 2nd grade, i’m always interested with collecting stamps, old coins, matches box and post cards, i think that they are cute and unique and they could sell for a high price someday. i really want to collect them, but i’m scared that i can’t take care of them so i try to find information about collecting them as much as i can until i decided to start collecting stamps in 3rd grade because i think that stamps are the easiest thing that i can collect, i can collect them by finding

pen pals and many place still sell them for souvenirs, unlike coins and matches box, it’s hard to find them.

I bought my first stamp album at the post office near my house, and bought some of my first stamps there, and then my collection increase by pen paling with friends, buying a new one when i went to other places like other countries and city(more like souvenirs) until i can’t count how many stamps that i have, but i need to but a new stamp album because i’m out of page to put my collections.

My first stamp album is the brown one.

About 2 years ago, when i was in 5th grade, i found an old stamp album at my grandmother’s house, and it seems that it was my grandmother’s stamp album that she gave  to my aunt, i asked my aunt if i can have it and she gave it to me! i was so happy, there’s many stamps from around the world inside the album, from England, to Canada! i was so happy

Hi guys, i'm Dyas. I thought i will never post anything here and leave this blog not updated because i'm not interested with blogging, but few days later after i made this blog i started to get interested with it, so why not try to be an awesome blogger?!

Anyway, i'm gonna introduce myself here,

I'm that kind of person who likes to experiment with things and ends up with an explosion leaving some scars on my hands, and got scolded for the mess.
I like to draw, i usually draw character from stories, cartoon and living things such as broccoli's. I draw both traditional art and digital art, i might post my arts here.
I have a weird obsession with empty boxes and paper bags, i have a drawer full of them.
